By Megan Valentine

Jennifer Brice joined KSEE 24 News at 5 as anchor/nightside reporter in May 2005. Prior to Fresno, Jennifer’s television career included stops in Florida, Texas, Mississippi and Denver.

In Jacksonville, Florida at WTLV she got the unique opportunity to cover north Florida’s first chance at hosting a Super Bowl. She also reported in the “one-two-three” punch of a busy 2004 hurricane season. Jennifer picked up a spot news EMMY nomination and “Best of Gannett” award for her reporting during Florida’s fire season. Jennifer also broke a series of stories on a Duval County student who built a website that threatened a fellow student. The student was suspended after the stories aired. Her investigation caused the school board to reexamine its policy on student conduct.

Two years prior in Tyler, Texas at KLTV, she helped wake up folks as a morning co-anchor. Although, it was the disaster of Shuttle Columbia over East Texas defining the most memorable story she’s covered. Jennifer had the unique opportunity to see the story through upon her arrival at WTLV, Jacksonville, Florida when NASA released their findings of the disaster at Cape Canaveral. Back in Texas, Jennifer won two Associated Press awards -- "Best Reporter" and "Best Feature Serious."

Jennifer’s first job reporting was for KACT in Aurora, Colorado. She soon moved on to a main anchor position in Mississippi.

Jennifer has interviewed numerous personalities from former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev, B.B. King, Diane Sawyer, Charlie Gibson, to Hugh Hefner.

Originally from Denver, Jennifer earned a bachelor's degree in journalism studies from the University of Denver. She's proud to call the Rocky Mountains home.

Jennifer says meeting people is the best part of being in news. No two days are ever the same.
