Rich Rodriguez grew up on his parents' farm near Exeter. Rich attended Sequoia Union grade school in Lemon Cove, then went on to Exeter High where he was elected Student Body President in 1972. He then attended Oklahoma State University where he majored in radio and television.

Rich began his broadcasting career at KLWN in Lawrence, Kansas but returned to the Valley to take a job at KMJ radio in 1977. Three years later, Rich made the jump to television when he got his first anchor job at a local Fresno television station. He anchored there for five years until he accepted a reporting position at KABC in Los Angeles.

After three years in the big city, Rich returned to the Valley and his former position. In the spring of 2001 Rich came over to KSEE 24 to anchor KSEE 24 News at 6 and 11 with Stefani Booroojian. Rich and Stefani are KSEE 24 News' main anchors and have been voted the Central Valley’s best anchor team.Rich also anchor’s KSEE-24’s newest newscast, KSEE-24 News at Ten. Weekdays on my53 K.A.I.L. and Cable 13.

For the voice of Crimestoppers, Rich has become the face for fighting crime in the Valley. Each year Crimestopper re-enactments and your tips help authorities make hundreds of arrests in the Central Valley. Improving the quality of life and making streets safer is something Rich is very proud to be apart of.

Rich is also an avid golfer.He and his wife, Margaret, have six children: Melissa, Martha, Meredith, Matt, Rhett,and Roman.
