Colin Jackson

Colin Jackson joined KSEE-24 in August of 2007 as our Weekend Meteorologist. He also reports during the week on our early evening newscasts.
Colin's first news experience came at ABC Network News in Los Angeles for 4 years on the assignment desk, assisting on shows like World News Tonight, Nightline, Good Morning America and 20/20.
He hit the local news scene in Chico, CA as an assignment manager eventually taking a weekend anchoring position in Eureka, CA
His next stop was in Eugene, OR where he turned to weather forecasting and reporting. While in Oregon, Colin then began his weather training through the Broadcast Meteorology Program at Mississippi State University.
In 1999, Colin took a weekend weather position in Austin, TX where he found his passion for severe weather like Tornados and Gulf Coast Hurricanes. He spent 2 years in Austin and then moved on to San Antonio for another 3 years of severe weather forecasting.
Colin and his wife Diana had their son Brad in San Antonio and soon moved back to California in 2004 to be close to family. Their daughter Tannis was born in Clovis.
His family loves being back in the west, close to Grandparents, the coast and everything the Sierra has to offer.He's a music buff and his favorites are, Rush, the Dixie Dregs, TOTO and Pat Metheny.
