In January 1996 he began filling in for the main weather anchors and in September of that year became the station's first weekend weather forecaster. Two years later he was promoted to the weather forecaster on KSEE Sunrise, and KSEE 24 News at Noon. A.J. became Chief Meteorologist in March 2009.
A.J. was instrumental in the preparation and launching of the KSEE Weather Plus Center. He has achieved the American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval, and is the Valley's first and only AMS Certified Broadcast Meteorologist.
