Alex is an Emmy award-winning anchor who is now the face of CENTRAL VALLEY TODAY at 11am and the co-anchor for "WE ARE FRESNO-LIVE" at 4pm.
C-V-T debuted in September, 2007, and is the first ever, live talk show in the Central Valley.
Prior to the launch of C-V-T… Alex was the sole anchor for KSEE-24 news at 4:00 which she also debuted in 2002. She also reported for the news at 10 and 11, and was the fill-in anchor.
Before then, Alex was a morning anchor for KSEE Sunrise. Before joining the KSEE 24 News team, Alex was morning and noon anchor for KVII in Amarillo, Texas. She started her career at KVIA in El Paso, where she graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso.
Alex was born in Mexico City, but grew up in Chicago, and lived in Texas for many years.
She’s called the Central Valley home since 1998.
Alex has also been honored as one of the Valley’s 100 Most Influential Women by the Business Street Journal… as well as being in the top ten category for 40U40… the 40 Most Successful People under the age of 40 in the Central Valley.
