Dan Rubin joined the KSEE 24 news team in July of 2012. He comes to us from KRON 4 News in San Francisco where he worked as a weather and traffic anchor. Dan graduated from San Francisco State University and got his start in broadcasting working in radio. He was a news, traffic, weather, and sports reporter for a variety of stations; most notably KCBS and KNBR in San Francisco. Dan was recognized by the Radio and Television News Directors association for “Outstanding Coverage” of the “Maze Meltdown” in 2007. He has also worked as an airborne reporter and videographer. Dan is also an actor that has appeared on numerous commercials and TV shows including “America’s Most Wanted” (not as a criminal, he assures you) and “Trauma.” He didn’t have to stretch too far when playing a reporter named “Skip” in the movie “Knife Fight.” Dan enjoys living in sunny Fresno where people are kind and there’s always a place to park.
