Raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Pamela has learned to appreciate all Mother Nature has to offer. However, after having several feet of snow piled on her car and staring down moose in her front yard, she decided to head for warmer weather. Pamela began her trek south, settling in Seattle, where she graduated from the University of Washington. During that time, she reported for the UW Daily, interned at KCPQ TV, and was a news assistant at KOMO TV. After graduation, Pamela began reporting for KNDO TV, the NBC affiliate in Yakima, Washington. Desiring an even warmer climate, she headed to Fresno.
Fluent in Spanish, Pamela studied abroad in Ecuador during college, and enjoys the diverse cultures the Central Valley offers. In her spare time, Pamela loves going on family outings with her husband and young children. You'll often see them at a local park, Fresno Chaffee Zoo, or a Grizzlies game. Pamela loves her job because it’s exciting and challenging to be in a different situation each and every day, but most importantly, because it is extremely rewarding to bring people stories that shape the community in which they live.
