At a station already known for its broadcasting icons, Stefani Booroojian remains one of the most recognizable names in KSEE 24 News history.
Stefani feels fortunate to be part of such a rich broadcasting tradition in her hometown.Stefani has been at KSEE 24 for more than 30 years bringing the news to valley viewers. Over that span of time, she has witnessed and reported on tremendous changes and events in the Central Valley. While monitoring the daily news, Stefani’s responsibilities have included watching out for people’s health and well being.
Stefani’s pursuit of women’s health issues remains critical. She has been instrumental in bringing KSEE 24’s Buddy Check program to the Central Valley. The on-going outreach has been credited with saving lives through its early detection methods and research updates in the fight against breast cancer.
Stefani has been at the KSEE 24 News since 1982, at the anchor desk since 1984 and currently anchors KSEE 24 News at 4, 5, 6 and 6:30 pm. Stefani brings award winning experience to the news team with significant community and industry recognition. Three Emmy’s (the latest for her We Are Fresno series), a number of Associated Press awards, and a distinguished media service award from Fresno State University are part of her professional portfolio.
Broadcast news has been a large part of Stefani’s life, yet she insists her greatest joy is spending time with her husband and two children in a wonderful place called Central California.
