Chick-fil-A is encouraging caring people to pack empty shoe boxes with school supplies, toys, hygiene items, other small gifts, and personal notes. The boxes filled with these gifts will be collected in November and shipped by Samaritan’s Purse to more than 100 countries around the world to children suffering from war, famine, disease, natural disaster, and poverty. Each gift is a tangible expression to a hurting child that they are loved and not forgotten.

Operation Christmas Child has an objective of collecting over 8 Million shoe box gifts this year and we need your help to reach this important goal.

Volunteers from Operation Christmas Child will be at the Chick-fil-A Blackstone location on Tuesday, November 3rd from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM to give out deco shoe boxes and to kick off the partnership with Chick-fil-A. On Saturday, November 14th Operation Christmas Child will be back at the Chick-fil-A Blackstone location to receive your filled and gift wrapped shoe boxes and to give out a coupon for a free chicken sandwich for each filled and gift wrapped shoe box returned. Filled and gift wrapped shoe boxes may be returned to the Chick-fil-A Blackstone through Saturday, November 21st to receive your free chicken sandwich.
