On any given day at Fig Garden Elementary you'll find Natalie Coleman doing what she does best, helping students learn.
"It is with great joy I come to work to teach them."
Mrs. Coleman is a resource specialist. Which basically means she uses whatever works to help kids of all different ages overcome academic obstacles.
"Thank you Mrs. Coleman for teaching me reading."
Over the years Mrs. Coleman has taught a lot of kids. She's been with Fresno Unified for more than three decades, and she's still going strong.
"She's the best teacher...Think she's the best."
"They know if they come to me they'll get help...I just adore them."
"When you can teach...Its powerful."
