If you spend some time watching Elizabeth Reid interact with her students, it's not surprising to hear her talk about just how much she loves teaching. Or that she's been doing it now for more than 25 years. For her it's an all consuming job that's really so much more.

"Really truly I've been wrapped up... Its teaching."

Reid says she was inspired to go into education by her mother... Who was also a teacher.

"To see those kids come back... That's what I wanted to do."

Its pretty evident just how much these second graders at Roeding Elementary look up to Mrs. Reid, and how much they really like her.

"I think its all about connections... Later life of success."

Congratulations to Liz Reid, our KSEE24 Educator of the Week.
