Senora Reya Vega is passionate about dancing. For her it's truly a form of artistic expression that she's loved since she was little girl.

"I get to share that love... Represent their culture."

Senora Vega's love of Folklorico dancing lead her to teach Spanish. Now she shares her knowledge of both with her students at Clovis East High School. She says language is a powerful tool, but adds that dance is also a valuable form of communication.

"Its not just about the steps... Through the dances we do."

Through learning, many of her students have developed some pretty close relationships with Senora Vega.

"Shes like the mom or aunt... Makes everything better."

"I would consider her as a huge role model... Like family to me."

"I see the positive... Share with them."

Congratulations to Reya Vega, our KSEE24 Educator of the Week.
