Educator of the Week: Rheya Kautz

It's morning at Gettysburg Elementary and these first graders are... As usual...Ready to take on the day.

"1st grade they're a ball full of energy...So eager to learn more and more."

Their teacher is Rheya Kautz. Believe it or not...This is her first job as an educator.

"What better way to create lifelong learners...And give kids confidence."

Miss Kautz says she absolutely loves first grade. It hasn't taken long for her to figure out what works...And she believes it can be as simple as showing these little ones lots of love.

"If you can be that positive...Shine for you."

"She does fun stuff with us, she plays fun games with us."

"Thank you for helping me learn."
