Bringing U.S. history to life is something Robert Hoe does very well.

"I share stories...Looking at military history...It makes it all real."

Mr. Hoe has been teaching for more than three decades now. Most of that time has been spent, at Fresno High. His students are quick to tell you...He's not only a great teacher...He's a great person.

"He's funny easy to talk to he can relate to anything you have to say."

"He trusts people, nice to them, generous, good person in general."

Mr. Hoe believes making an impact on someone can be as simple as treating them well.

"Something as simple as greeting the kids...It makes you a person instead of just a teacher."

"The greatest joy...That's really why I do it."

And that's why Robert Hoe is our KSEE24 Educator of the Week.

If you'd like to nominate someone to be our Educator of the Week, it's easy! Just go to our website, KSEE24.com. Then, click on community, then submission. Tell us why your choice should be educator of the week!

Every week, the winning teacher and her classroom will receive a $124 gift certificate from GW School Supply. They'll also get their names engraved on a brick on the 'Teacher and Friends of Education Honor Wall', at Fresno State's Kremen School of Education.
