Sister Isabel Lopez has been teaching at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Clovis for nearly 40 years now. She says she can't imagine doing anything else.

For her education is a calling. "Because each student is a special treasure for me from God."

Sister Isabel came to Clovis in 1962. Her order, the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, were sent here from Spain to open OLPH. Over the years she's seen many kids go through her classroom. She's come to think of this room as a garden, the kids her flowers.

"I have to help that flower that is a child to grow...Love concern and care."

"Helps us do math and reading and art."

"Sister Isabel is really nice...Helps with our tests."

"If a child is loved unconditionally that child will blossom."

Congratulations to Sister Isabel Lopez, our KSEE24 Educator of the Week.
