Valley Voters Discuss McCain's Pick for Vice President

A group of Fresno State students spent the afternoon reacting to the latest news that came out of the McCain camp Friday morning. Days after Barack Obama announced his running mate, McCain did the same.

Several well-known male politicians were assumed finalists for the job, but McCain threw everyone for a loop and selected a young, inexperienced female. Sarah Palin has two years of state-level experience in politics. She has none at the national level.

Many students with whom KSEE 24 spoke said Palin was an unusual selection, but could prove to be a beneficial choice.
