Perched on a hill above the capital city of Yerevan stands a sacred memorial for Armenians around the world. It's called the citadel or fortress of swallows. It's a place named for the bird that is known to return to its nest, even after its the nest is destroyed.

The Tzitzernagapert museum and memorial in Yerevan is a metaphor for those who survived the Armenian Genocide but were dispersed to the four corners.

KSEE 24’s series “Stefani’s Armenia” was made possible by the National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia (NCFA) with support from the Government of Armenia and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
