Some of you may remember listening to legends, like Bob Hope and Bing Crosby on the radio. Well now, you can revisit those golden ages and help our veterans in need of a home just simply by visiting the Clovis Veterans memorial theatre for a performance of Bob and Bing a road to Clovis. It's being put on by the Central California veterans home support foundation. Chuck Carson, the producer and writer of the show tell us about the Central California veterans home support foundation. This year the home will finally open its' doors and begin accepting residents. This show is the major fundraiser for 2013 for the foundation. All proceeds will benefit the organization and their mission is to supply to the veterans who will be living at the home funds for such things as magazines, clothing, toiletries, and additional furniture. The show is formatted as a 1940's NBC radio broadcast: additional guest stars are Red Skelton, Jack Benny, and Jimmy Durante. Matinee is to allow seniors to enjoy show and not worry about driving at night.
