If you don't find ways to distress, you can make yourself sick literally. Monique Hall tells us there is simple ways to take the stress away with the holistic cultural and education wellness center. Here are steps you that will help you.
Meditation helps reduce stress. We tend to want to punish ourselves for all the pie by pushing ourselves too hard in the gym. This will only cause more stress and a possible injury. Instead, take a gentle yoga class or a 20 minute walk. Start slow so you don't burn out.
a) Dancing is a fun source of exercise. Dance with your family! Let's Move
b) Take a walk in the sunshine or snow and breathe in the air. Look around you and find a tree or something beautiful that you can be thankful for. Being outdoors reconnects you with nature, which will reduce your stress level.
Have a family Game Night. It is a wonderful way to reduce stress and to reconnect with your family.
Get a massage. Get a loved one to rub your shoulders for 15 minutes. This will help open up your muscles, tissues, and energy meridians that have been blocked by stress or tension.
Drink some herbal tea, lavender, chamomile, and kava are some of the best. Take 10 minutes to sip it slowly and breathe in the steam. This will help your mind and body to relax.
Watch a funny movie. Laughing is so good for your mental and physical health. It releases tension and stress, and even gives your immune system a boost! Movie Night
