Helping Kids with Fun Map Apps

A new survey from PBS Finds parents place less emphasis on math skills, than reading, as an indicator of achievement for their children. The survey also found that parents need help supporting math skills for their children. That's why PBS has come up with a plan called It All Adds Up, which will provide resources to those parents helping their kids with math homework.

The best part the PBS play and learn app, designed specifically for parents is free! It provides more than a dozen math and literacy based games to help kids better understand counting and measurements, as well as vocabulary and reading skills.
