In the United States more than 150 people die, every year from accidental carbon monoxide poisoning from faulty or improperly used appliances, such as furnaces, stoves, water heaters and fireplaces. Carbon monoxide is an invisible killer because it is a colorless, odorless, poisonous gas.

By law, every home in California is required to have a carbon monoxide detector but not everyone does. Mark Pogon with Turner Security Systems is here to tell us how easy it is to install one in your home and why it's important to have more than just one.
