Apparently Valentine's Day isn't about romance anymore. According to the latest data from Ebates.com for the past two-years Valentine's Day gifts were purchased not just for significant others, but for the entire family.
In 2012 the most popular gifts were clothing and accessories, which accounted for 30 percent of all sales. Travel gifts came in second with 15 percent of all sales. Eight percent of sales went to consumer electronics and health and beauty products.
