Barbecued Baby Back RibsBy Megan ValentineIngredients3 – 4 pounds pork loin back ribs (2 racks), remove membrane from back1 teaspoon paprika 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt 1 teaspoon onion powder 1 teaspoon dried sage, crushed 1/2 teaspoon celery seeds 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1 cup apple juice or apple cider Directions1. Prepare grill to medium heat. Plan for indirect cooking.2. Combine dry ingredients for rub. Sprinkle evening over both sides of ribs, rub in with your fingers. 3. Place ribs, bone sides down on grill rack. Cover and grill for 1 – 1 1/2 hour, brushing occasionally with apple juice after first hour of grilling. Grill under tender. 4. Serve with barbecue sauce for dipping. If you prefer wet ribs, grill ribs until tender and add barbecue sauce during last 15 minutes of grilling.
