Waldorf SaladBy Megan ValentineIngredients2 T fresh lemon juice3 T granulated sugar Pinch of salt ½ cup mayonnaise ½ cup whipping cream, whipped 2 granny smith apples, cored and diced 1/2” 1 red delicious apple, cored and diced 1/2” 1 small rib celery, peeled and thinly sliced 1 cup seedless grapes ½ cup walnut pieces Butter lettuce or Romaine leaves DirectionsVigorously whisk together lemon juice, sugar and salt in a large salad bowl. Add mayonnaise and whisk to combine well. Gently fold in the whipped cream. Fold in the apples, celery, grapes and walnuts.Serve in lettuce cups.
