Mediterranean Cucumber Water

Tools

By Megan Valentine

Ingredients

2 gallons filtered water
1 cup loosely packed mint leaves
1 English cucumber, thinly sliced
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 lime, thinly sliced
1 orange, thinly sliced
Sliced strawberries (optional)

Directions

This flavored water can add a lot to the table, especially when serving a Mediterranean menu. It looks great in a clear glass pitcher. And it’s very good for you!

Fill a clean glass pitcher with filtered water. Bruise the mint by pressing down lightly with a ladle or pestle. Add the mint and remaining ingredients to the water. Cover and refrigerate until using. It’s refreshing in a few minutes, but much better after a few hours. Stays fresh for about 2 days.
