Event Description

October 4, 2010 Updated Oct 4, 2010 at 9:30 AM PDT

Raisin Hell Ranch was said to be the favorite new haunted attraction in the Fresno area in 2008. In 2009, just three days before opening night, a freak rain and wind storm flattened the entire cornfield. Now with new scares, more actors and a demented Creative Team, the 2010 Raisin Hell Ranch is sure to be the best haunted attraction in the Valley! No need to drive to a scary part of the city or travel 45 minutes on bumpy country roads when Raisin Hell Ranch is conveniently located 10 minutes from most parts of Fresno, just off Hwy 99 at Ave 7 (2 miles north of Herndon). Three terrifying attractions await thrill seekers and Halloween enthusiasts are sure to get the scare of a lifetime.

SCARECROW’S REVENGE
Once the farmer’s friend, this band of solitary, straw-stuffed creatures have taken over the cornfield and are seeking retribution for being nailed to a wooden cross and left to be tormented by flocks of mischievous crows. The farmer and his family learned that human flesh and blood give these creatures life. This farm will never be the same – neither will you!

CHUPACABRA FEAST
The Mexican legend of the blood-sucking beast known as Chupacabra is proven to be true after just one visit to this farm. A once proud farmer boasts that he has captured one of these not-so mythological creatures, known for sucking the blood out of goats and chickens, but never eating the flesh. Soon he realizes that his catch is not the only one and the rest of the demonic pack has acquired a taste for human flesh!

FRESNO STATE “BLACK-OUT” MAZE
Rustling corn, howling coyotes and a full moon set the stage for a frightful night of terrifying fun in the “Black-Out” Maze. Designed in honor of the 100th Year Anniversary of Fresno State, the labyrinth features 2 1/2 miles of twisting, turning and dead end trails. Shadows appear and then disappear. Noises are heard in the distance, but seem to be getting closer. Is something out there or is it just your imagination? NO lights, NO maps and NO one will hear you scream!
