“The Black Spot” is an interactive murder mystery and dinner that encourages audience members to dress up and participate in the actions around a Jamaican Tavern in Port Royale circa 1650. It includes the likes of Black Beard and his crew, other famous pirates, serving wenches and the odd voodoo priestess about, who knows what mischief might occur? The event takes place March 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th. Tickets are $25 for dinner and the show or $15 for show only. Tickets may be purchased through the Hanford Department of Recreation at 585-2525 or online at www.wishpi.org. The Black Spot will be held at the Veteran’s Hall 401 N Irwin St. in Hanford and will benefit the upcoming humanitarian operations to Uganda in June.
