On Saturday, April 26th The Master Gardeners of Fresno County will be showcasing 5 gardens and the Garden of the Sun, the Master Gardener demonstration garden maintained by Master Gardners. The gardens have been selected for their variety and innovativeness. The range from sustainable drought tolerant garden containing unusual & vibrant colors to a country garden complete with year round color, vegetables & fruit.

In case you aren’t familiar with our program we wanted to give you a little information about us. The non profit Master Gardener program is sponsored by the University of California Cooperative Extension. Our volunteers receive extensive training in home gardening and horticulture from Cooperative Extension experts. With our own fund raising dollars, we in turn go out into the community to share this information through our garden tour, plant clinics, classes, speaker’s bureau, and our help line.
