THE GARABEDIAN GROUP (TGG) ANNOUNCES THE FIRST ANNUAL FOOD DRIVE TO ASSIST THE LOCAL COMMUNITY FOOD BANK WITH A GOAL OF RAISING $50,000.00 IN FOOD AND MONETARY DONATIONS.

FRESNO, Calif., (June 2011) - The Garabedian Group (TGG) has partnered with the local Community Food Bank in a determined effort to give back to the community by organizing the first of what they hope to make an annual Summer Food Drive. The Garabedian Group has set a very ambitious goal of raising $50,000.00 in food and monetary donations by June 30th, 2011.

TGG has a longstanding tradition of giving back to the local community whenever possible. The team set out to determine where they could give back and provide the greatest impact on a local scale. Understanding that the Central Valley has one of the highest unemployment rates in the Nation the goal was geared toward finding a charitable organization that can directly assist those families that are currently displaced and out of work.

Dale Garabedian, Founder & CEO of TGG said, “There are several charitable organizations that could use help in these tough times. As business owners we have an opportunity to utilize the resources that we have been blessed with, in a positive way. If we can make a positive impact on one life, our team’s time and effort has been a success. Our local community needs help and we will continue to do our part in getting involved and giving back.”

The hope is to exceed the goal of $50,000.00 in food and monetary donations. Utilizing their extensive list of contacts, each team member within TGG is reaching out to their individual networks of companies, and contacts to help make this effort a success. The Community Food Bank provided TGG with empty collection barrels which they have delivered to several local businesses that are willing to participate and contribute to the success of this event. On Thursday, June 30th, 2011, starting at 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the Community Food Bank’s Mobile Pantry Truck will be stationed in The Garabedian Group parking lot to collect all final donations.
