Kiwanis Club of Greater Madera Announces…

The 9th Annual Charitable Kiwanis Mothers’ Day 2/5 Mile Run-Walk is scheduled to take place at the Madera County Sheriff’s Office May 12, 2012.

Participants can sign up for the 2 mile, 5 mile and one of two “Kid’s Kourses” which emphasize and promote parent-child shared exercise.

Registration form for this “Valley Runner of the Year” series 30 Point Race can be downloaded from the following site: http://www.greaterkiwanis.com/

Race information can be accessed by logging onto Ken Takeuchi’s Pro Race Group web site at: http://www.proracegroup.com/future.html, or by calling 559-275-6318.

The race, organized by Pro Race Group’s Race Director Ken Takeuchi has dumped the clock to time runners this year. This year’s 30 pt Valley Runner of the Year race will use chip timing/scoring by Fresno’s popular Sole2Soul.

All proceeds raised from the annual Mother’s Day Run benefit youth programs in Madera County.
