Event Description
Encore Theatre announces the summer musical – White Christmas directed by Susan Burley. Choreographed by McKenna Friend and vocal coached by Sharon Burley
Auditions are opened to limited school age children, mature high school, college and adult. Auditions will include vocal, speaking, and dance.
Audition days are the following: Saturday, May 5th – 2:00pm – 5:00pm , Sunday, May 6th – 5pm – 8pm , Monday, May 7th and Tuesday, May 8th at 7pm.
All auditions will be held at Encore Theatre, 324 South N St. Tulare.
Show dates: July 6,7,8, 12,13,14,15, 19,20,21, 2012
White Christmas is ……
Based on the beloved, timeless film, this heartwarming musical adaptation features seventeen Irving Berlin songs. Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. The dazzling score features well known standards including Blue Skies, I Love A Piano, How Deep Is the Ocean and the perennial favorite, White Christmas.
