The Fresnochapter of The Links, Incorporated is hosting “Santa In The Summer,” a summer jazz toy drive event, from 6 – 10 o’clock at night, at Engelmann Cellars. The entry fee to the event will include each attendee to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate. All profits and toys from the event will benefit their community dinner in December. Established in 1946, The Links, Incorporated is one of the oldest and largest volunteer organizations in the country. For the last 11 years, the Fresno chapter has hosted a community dinner and toy give-a-way during the holiday season. Annually,they feed anywhere from 1,000 – 2,000 needy people that reside in southwest Fresno. They also hand out toys that they receive from USMC Toys for Tots and purchase as a chapter. The event will include a selection of wines from Engelmann Cellars, live jazz music, the El Taconazo for fun dining, Lolo shaved ice, a cigar roller and much, much more.
