Event Description
WHO: Evans Feed & Livestock Supply, Inc. and the Central California Blood Center present the National Day of the Cowboy Blood Drive.
WHAT: Calling on all cowboys and farmers to participate in the National Day of the Cowboy Blood Drive. Evans Feed and Livestock Supply, Inc. is partnering up with the Central California Blood Center for a blood drive. Jack Hannah, singer/songwriter of The Sons of San Joaquin, will be in attendance at the Madera location. In addition, Purina will have special coupon offers at the Madera location, and both Evans Feed locations will feature “blow out” prices to thank fellow donors and customers. All donors will receive a FREE western vintage art T-shirt and The Big Fresno Fair “Buy one ticket & get one free” coupon. Donors must be in good general health, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be at least 17 years old (16 years old with written parent consent). Photo ID and Social Security Number are required at donor registration.
WHEN: Saturday July 28th, 2012 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
WHERE: Evans Feed & Livestock Supply at 241 South “E” Street in Madera, CA and 79 West Orange Street in Porterville, CA.
WHY: Between 5,000 and 6,000 pints of blood a month are required to meet the needs of our community. Life-saving blood inventory can dwindle during the summer, and the Central California Blood Center needs our help to keep blood in supply.
