Join us on Saturday, September 22nd, for our 10th Annual Fun Run/Walk. This is a non-competitive, 2 mile walk or 4 mile run, rain or shine. Our "Spirit of Hope, Spirit of Healing...One Step at a Time" event will bring our survivors together in a memorial event and educate our community about the prevention of suicide. We will begin with a memorial ceremony, recognition and dove release, D.J. entertainment and games, free food, a resource fair and silent auction. Come out and enjoy the peace and serenity of a nice walk among friends along Eaton Trail.
This fundraiser event will help Fresno Survivors of Suicide Loss, Inc., (a 28 year locally based non-profit organization) expand its mission providing support to survivors of suicide loss and educating the public about suicide prevention. Fresno SOS offers support groups, a free newsletter, resource guidance, mentor and support team services, all at no charge to survivors. Fresno SOS educates high schools, colleges, the workplace, agencies and churches about suicide warning signs and prevention education and more!
