San Joaquin College of Law Alumni Association and Central California Legal Services will host “Senior Law Day” on Saturday, October 27, 2012.
This free event will take place at San Joaquin College of Law, 901 5th Street, Downtown Clovis from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Schedule:
8:30 Registration.
9:00-10:00 Attorney Deborah Boyett will speak on estate planning techniques and “traps” that target seniors.
10:30-11:30 DMV Senior Ombudsman Richard Kohr will speak on driving techniques for seniors, driver’s rights at DMV license reviews, and appointments with DMV for photo identification purposes.

Central California Legal Services will have attorneys available from 9:00-12:30 to assist in the preparation of simple wills and advanced health care directives. To make an appointment to meet with the CCLS volunteer attorneys or RSVP for Senior Law Day, contact the Clovis Senior Center at 324-2750.
