Musical Production For Ages 10-Teen
All who register will be cast in the production.

Book/Music/Lyrics by Sir William Schwenck Gilbert & Sir Arthur Seymour Sullivan
Directed by Daniel Chavez, Jr.

Wacky, irreverent and entertaining, the musical spins a hilarious farce of sentimental pirates, bumbling policemen, dim-witted young lovers, dewy-eyed daughters, and an eccentric Major General, all morally bound to the often ridiculous dictates of honor and duty.

How to Audition: Students may come prepared to sing 16 bars of a song in the style of the show by themselves, but this is not required. During the first few rehearsals, students will be asked to sing in a group, learn a short dance combination, and read scenes from the show.

Audition Date: Thursday, August 30, 2012, 5:00-8:00pm.

Rehearsals: Thursdays, 5:00-8:00pm, September 6, 13, 20, 27, October 11, 18, November 1, 8, 15, December 6, 13, 20, January 3, 10.
Tech Week Rehearsals: Monday - Thursday, January 14 - 17 (time TBD).

6 Performances: Fri. & Sat., 7:30pm, and Sun., 2:00pm, January 18-27.

Cost: $285 (includes $25 costume fee) + $25 registration fee.
