Event Description
Pilgrim Armenian Congregational Church Invites You to Lunch and Dinner!
The meal you have been waiting for is back… for lunch and, this year, for dinner, too!
Pilgrim Armenian Congregational Church presents its Losh Kebab meal on Friday, September 28 on the church campus, 3673 N. First Street (between Shields and Dakota avenues), Fresno. Lunch will be served 11am to 2pm. Dinner is offered from 5 to 8pm. The meal consists of two juicy Losh Kebabs accompanied by a vegetable medley sauce, traditionally prepared Armenian pilaf and salad, yalanchi (rice appetizer wrapped in a grape leaf), Peda bread and dessert – sweet Bourma.
A country store filled with Armenian culinary delicacies, fresh produce, preserves and handcrafts will be open throughout the day for purchase and take-home enjoyment. All food items are prepared by members of the church using the finest, locally grown produce.
This year’s event will benefit a variety of programs including many of the church’s mission outreaches: Armenian Tech Group, Charlie Keyan Armenian Community School, Evangel Home, Fresno Rescue Mission, Goorabian Family Life Center Ministry, Love Inc., and a kindergarten class in Gyumri, Armenia.
Cost for the meal is $12. To make your dine-in, drive-through or take-out order, contact the church office, Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm, at 559-229-2915; or visit www.pilgrimchurch.com.
