Best selling author and award winner, Richard Preston, will speak on his book, The Wild Trees, that explores the perpendicular universe of the world's tallest trees, California redwoods. A gifted storyteller, Preston will take us into a primeval kingdom of plants and animals in a world suspended in the crowns of these immense trees that only a handful of people have ever seen. Preston is a regular contributor to the New Yorker, and author of several bestselling books.
