Dr. John Capitman, Director of the Central Valley Health Policy Institute at Fresno State will begin a series of ACA workshops and Q&A sessions Sunday, September 23 from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Woodward Park Library.

The event is collaboration between the Central Valley Health Policy Institute, Hadassah, Temple Beth Israel’s Sisterhood and Temple Beth Israel’s Brotherhood.

The session is ultimately designed to provide a non-partisan evaluation of the ACA and other health care policy options currently on the table.

“Right now, there are important questions about health care that must be answered in a way that all people in the U.S. can understand,” Dr. Capitman said. “Our hope is that those that participate will better understand the ACA and also learn how to effectively examine health care policy.

The session is free, open to the public, and refreshments will be served. Woodward P ark Library is located at 944 East Perrin Avenue.

For more information, or to schedule a workshop, please contact the Central Valley Health Policy Institute at (559) 228-2159.
