Fresno State's Department of Viticulture and Enology and the San Joaquin Valley Winegrowers Association will present the Berry Sensory Evaluation Workshop on Thursday, October 18 at Fresno State, with support from Allied Grape Growers and Constellation Wines. Grape growers, and winemakers will be able to "taste the grapes" at various stages of maturity, lead by a panel of winemakers from large to boutique wineries. Varying degrees of flavor, maturity, and usefulness of grapes at each step up the ripeness scale will be discussed.
