BIOLA RAISIN DAY CELEBRATES RAISINS
& BIOLA’S 100THANNIVERSARY WITH
LIVE MUSIC, CARNIVAL, CAR SHOW & PARADE
OCTOBER 19, 20 & 21, 2012

Biola Raisin Day celebrates the town’s 100th anniversary and the local raisin harvest with a fun weekend of events.

Country music duo Whisky Row kicks off the celebration with a concert and dance on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Biola Chamber Pavilion. The evening will feature the coronation of the Biola Raisin Day queen and princess.

Then the largest, two-block parade in the Central Valley returns to
“G” Street on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m rain or shine and Ksee 24 Matt Otstot will be co-host With Biola own Beth Hullender to M/C the Parade.
A classic car show follows the parade.

A Blessing of the Raisin Harvest nondenominational service and mariachi music will be featured on Sunday October 21, 2012, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Biola Chamber Pavilion.

A kids’ carnival by Johnston Amusements and food and craft booths are open throughout the weekend. Admission is free.

Friday night’s dance tickets are $10 per individual or $15 per couple with proceeds to benefit new sidewalks in Biola.
