Community leaders, healthcare professionals, and residents will be walking the Central Valley’s “Asthma Trail” to spread awareness and push for action on a disease affecting nearly 1 in 6 children in the region. The walk will start in Fresno on September 27th and end in Sacramento on October 4th, making stops along the way. The walk will stop to host a community fair offering medical screenings and health education and featuring kids’ games, movies and a community speak-out.
