The Fresno Betsuin Buddhist Temple is hosting their annual Ginza Food Bazaar on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the Fresno Buddhist Family Center at 2690 E. Alluvial Ave (between Chestnut and Willow) from 11:30 until 6:00pm. Admission is free and the public is cordially invited.
The annual food bazaar is a fund raising benefit event to help the Fresno Betsuin Buddhist Temple build and relocate to their new location. This will be the third year held at the new Family Dharma Center.
Along with traditional Japanese dishes, Sushi, Teriyaki Chicken, Barbecue Ribs, Teriyaki Beef Sticks, Tempura Shrimp/Vegetables, Curry Rice, and Katsu Dogs, the bazaar will offer fried rice, chicken salad and pork udon noodles. Manju and Anpan are very popular desserts or better described as pastries. Hawaiian style shave ice is available as well.
Other offerings include entertainment, a Buddhist Bookstore, giftware and collectibles.
A special raffle drawing will be held for 1st prize of $1,000.00, 2nd prize of a 16 GB iPad, 3rd prize of a TV and many more prizes.
