In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Community Action Partnership of Madera County will host its 11th Annual Soup Bowl Event featuring guest speaker Sue Doman,surviving family member of Kathleen Savio.
Sue Doman is committed to raising awareness of domestic violence in honor or her sister Kathleen Savio. Kathleen Savio was murdered by her ex-husband,Bolingbrook, Illinois Retired Police Sargeant Drew Peterson. On September 6th, 2012 Drew Peterson was convicted for her murder. Please join us as Sue Doman honors her sister and shares with us the effects of domestic violence on family members.
Tickets - $15.00 per person includes Soup Buffet,Salad,Drink,Dessert & ceramic soup bowl created by youth at John Wells Youth Center.
