This exhibition will unveil a major new group of works developed over the past year in which Rangel has explored the interior space and atmosphere of a Central California dairy facility. Rooted in the traditional practice of observational drawing, Rangel's latest works transcend representation, extending into the realm of meditative, spiritual contemplation.

The Whey (way) n. to Center will be on display at Arts Visalia from Wednesday, October 3, 2012 through Saturday, October 27, 2012 with an opening reception to be held Friday, October 5th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Admission is free and open to the public.

This exhibition was made possible through a grant from the City of Visalia Community Arts Grant Program as well as through support of the Arts Consortium, Jack & Charlie’s, Mr. G’s Wine, Stella Artois, and Visual 6 Graphics.
