Shannon O'Brien, stage 4 cancer survivor & founder of A Spoonful of Sugar.
It's OK, Mama Has Cancer is from the perspective of Shannon's daughters, only 8 and 6 at the time. Chronicling their journey to understand Mama’s treatment, it’s a wonderfully inspirational and informative book. Designed to answer questions, provide comfort, and start discussions, It's OK, Mama Has Cancer is an invaluable resource for families dealing with cancer and the Oncology centers and medical professionals who work to treat those diagnosed with this dreaded disease.
