Madera County Office of Education will host the 31st annual Academic Decathlon on Saturday, February 2, 2013. This year’s topic is Russia. The Super Quiz begins at 2:45 p.m. followed by a reception and awards ceremony at Madera South High School. High school students will take tests in the areas of art, economics, literature, mathematics, music, science and social science. Subjective events include essay, interview and speech.
