In Fresno County there are individuals who work to improve the lives of children ages 0 to 5. Individuals who work beyond their job expectations or volunteer endless hours simply because they know it’s best for the children in their community. Too often, the critical work they do goes unrecognized.

First 5 Fresno County's Hands-On Hero Awards recognize individuals for their every day "hands-on" work on behalf of children ages 0 to 5 and their families. This is the opportunity to thank and nominate them for their passion and commitment to children. Deadline for nominations is Monday, December 10th, 2012.

Past winners have included a nurse, a janitor, and foster parents. Visit our website to see previous winners.
