Advanced Career Institute is sponsoring our fourth annual community service event for the holidays. The event will be held at the A&W located at 2611 S. Mooney Blvd. Visalia Ca. on Friday 12-7-2012 and Saturday 12-8-2012 between the hours of 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM both days.

In addition to our regular gift collection, Saturday’s event will also include a Truck and Hot Rod show from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Those wishing to enter the show are requested to bring a gift for either a child or a senior citizen as the entry fee. Trophies will be awarded.

We are collecting new unwrapped toys for children. In addition, we will be collecting basic need gifts for less fortunate senior citizens. We are requesting items such as new blankets, slippers, socks, basic need items, etc. which will be distributed this holiday season.

All gifts collected will be distributed in our local area only and not sent to other areas. Last year we were able to collect and distribute toys to several hundred children and basic need gifts to over 100 senior citizens and provided gifts to the Visalia Senior Center.
