The goal of the Point in Time Count & Registry is to create a by-name registry of people living on our streets and in shelters, enabling us to prioritize those who have been out there the longest and who are the most vulnerable. What we learn together during this week will help us reduce chronic homelessness in Fresno and Madera County.

The campaign is recruiting dedicated volunteers to canvass Fresno and Madera streets and shelters to survey the county’s most vulnerable homeless individuals and families. To ensure the most accurate count possible, we will survey individuals during the early morning hours for three consecutive days.
Training will take place at Poverello house on February 24, 2013 from 2:30pm to 6:00pm.
Homeless surveys will take place February 25 to 27, 2013 from 5:00am to 9:00am
